Advantages of hydraulic hoses compared to metal hydraulic hoses

With industrial development, hydraulic transmission technology has been widely applied in various fields. Hydraulic hoses, used in hydraulic systems, serve as channels connecting hydraulic components and the hydraulic tank. Rubber hoses are a common type of hydraulic hose.

Rubbing hydraulic hoses consist of an inner rubber layer, a reinforcing layer, and an outer rubber or plastic covering layer. The inner rubber layer guides the flow, the reinforcing layer withstands the high pressure of the hydraulic system, and the outer rubber or plastic covering layer protects the hydraulic hose from external environmental damage.

Compared to metal hydraulic hoses, rubber hoses have the following advantages:

First, rubber hoses possess excellent flexibility and elasticity, effectively mitigating pressure waves generated by vibration and impact in the hydraulic system, and helping the hydraulic system operate more smoothly.

Second, rubber hoses are lightweight and compact, facilitating handling and installation, reducing the load on machinery, and extending the machine’s service life.

In addition, rubber-coated hydraulic hoses possess high wear and corrosion resistance, enabling them to operate in harsh environments while also offering a long service life and lower maintenance costs.

However, due to the relatively soft material of rubber-coated hydraulic hoses, the following points should be noted during installation and use:

First, ensure that all hydraulic hose joints are tightly secured to prevent leaks.

Second, when selecting rubber-coated hydraulic hoses, choose the appropriate model and specifications based on the specific operating environment and pressure.

Finally, avoid subjecting rubber-coated hydraulic hoses to shearing, compression, and bending during operation to ensure normal operation and extend their service life.
