Steel wire rubber hose processing flow

Steel wire rubber hoses are commonly used in hydraulic systems and industrial equipment as conveying pipes. They consist of an inner rubber layer, a steel wire layer, and an outer rubber layer. The following is the manufacturing process of steel wire rubber hoses:

  1. Material Preparation: First, raw materials such as rubber, fiber cloth, and steel wire are prepared. Rubber is usually provided in the form of rubber sheets, fiber cloth is used to reinforce the strength of the rubber hose, and steel wire is used to enhance the pressure resistance of the rubber hose.
  2. Inner Rubber Layer Fabrication: The rubber sheets are processed through cutting and calendering to form the shape of the inner rubber layer. The material of the inner rubber layer is usually oil-resistant and wear-resistant synthetic rubber, with good sealing performance and corrosion resistance.
  3. Steel Wire Layer Fabrication: The steel wire is processed through drawing and braiding to form the shape of the steel wire layer. The material of the steel wire layer is usually high-strength, corrosion-resistant steel wire, with excellent pressure resistance and tensile strength.
  4. Outer Rubber Layer Fabrication: The rubber sheets are processed through cutting and calendering to form the shape of the outer rubber layer. The outer rubber layer is typically made of wear-resistant and weather-resistant synthetic rubber, possessing excellent abrasion resistance and anti-aging properties.
  5. Assembly: The inner rubber layer, steel wire layer, and outer rubber layer are assembled in a specific order. Usually, the steel wire layer is wrapped around the inner rubber layer, and then the outer rubber layer is wrapped around the steel wire layer.
  6. Pressing: The assembled rubber tube is placed in a pressing machine, and through hot or cold pressing processes, the inner rubber layer, steel wire layer, and outer rubber layer are fully bonded together to form a single unit.
  7. Inspection: The processed steel wire rubber tube is inspected to check whether its dimensions, appearance, and performance meet the standard requirements. Common inspection items include pressure testing, abrasion resistance testing, and corrosion resistance testing.
  8. Packaging: The inspected and qualified steel wire rubber tubes are packaged and labeled with product name, specifications, production date, and other information for easy transportation and use.

The above is the processing flow of steel wire rubber tubes. Each step requires strict quality control to ensure the performance and reliability of the final product. During the processing, relevant safety operating procedures must be followed to ensure the personal safety of operators.
